What I've tried: physically removed, and re-added the device from the USB port on the card (Which also confirmed that it's not the card, since the disconnecting device vanished upon removal) chkdsk /r on all internal, and external hard drives defragment all hard drives attempt driver updates (All device drivers appear to be up to date) Removed items from the hub (Does this even with no devices in the hub) Format, and complete reinstall of Windows 8.1 (For unrelated issues) None of the above actions have resolved this issue. (aka nothing else installed at all) I believe this makes the need for a clean boot unnecessary to test this issue. The MondoHub appears to work perfectly fine under windows 7, and windows XP, which leads me to believe this is a problem with Windows 8/8.1 As a side note, this happens even on a 100% fresh installation of Windows 8.1 with all current windows updates. I know this, because I have a USB 3.0 external hard drive attached to the second port on the card, which has no problems at all.
